11: Soul Manifesting and Intention Setting, A Peek Inside Our Soul Manifesting Series
How Monica Transformed Dreams into Reality Through Intuition and Intention
On a special episode of The Wand(HER)wild podcast, co-host Carolyn offers listeners a behind-the-scenes listen into Monica’s “Soul Manifesting” series—a core offering in their members’ space. This seven-part program explores intentional living, dream realization, and the deeper, more feminine side of manifesting. In this episode, Monica shares her personal story of calling in major life changes through soulful clarity, visioning, and action. Through her candid storytelling, she invites listeners to reflect on their own journeys and begin manifesting from the heart.
From New Jersey Roots to a Life on the Fjord
Monica, a New Jersey native turned global wanderer, now lives in Norway with her multicultural family. But the journey to this point was anything but expected. She didn’t grow up with passports and frequent flyer miles. Quite the opposite. Her parents didn’t even own passports until she made them get one to join her on a trip abroad.
Despite this, Monica had a clear and unique vision from a young age. That clarity, paired with resilience, sparked a pattern of “soul manifesting”—calling in experiences and opportunities aligned with her inner truth.
Manifesting Begins with Belief—Even Before You Know What You’re Doing
While at Penn State University, Monica took an unconventional path by majoring in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering—one of only two women in her graduating class. From day one, she imagined herself thriving in the program, traveling abroad, and working for a major corporation. Her classmates doubted her, but Monica quietly visualized, journaled, and spoke her future into existence.
Long before she ever heard the term “manifesting,” Monica was already doing it—writing affirmations, holding onto vision, and trusting herself against the odds.
From Humanitarian Service to International Career
After university, Monica was called to serve. She spent three consecutive summers in Africa, living in a youth center for street children. Her work focused on water filtration systems and small business development, deepening her understanding of global service.
Her intention to travel and contribute turned into a robust international career that included roles in countries with deeply unstable infrastructure. This wasn’t glamorous, but it was aligned. It was the life her soul envisioned—one marked by culture, service, and meaning.
Calling in Family: Creating a Multicultural Home
Monica always dreamed of raising a multicultural family. And eventually, she found her way to Norway—a place with more stable healthcare and work conditions—where she could root and begin that next chapter.
Her dream of motherhood wasn’t simple or linear. She faced setbacks, including a miscarriage and a long journey to conceive again. But through continued intention and self-trust, she called in the family she dreamed of and became a mother to two children.
Even her birth journey was a lesson in soul manifesting. After an emergency C-section with her first child, Monica was determined to have a VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean). She pursued a less clinical, more intuitive birth through hypnobirthing—a path that required confidence, negotiation, and vision.
Manifesting Is Not Always Clean or Pretty
Monica is the first to admit that the “highlight reel” of manifestation is misleading. Soul manifesting is not about meditating for five minutes and magically receiving all your desires.
The real work includes sleepless nights, unexpected delays, and sometimes even grief. She failed classes. She burned out during her corporate climb. She experienced loss and disappointment. But she kept returning to her inner knowing, surrendering to the lessons embedded in the journey.
This episode reframes manifesting as a spiral rather than a straight line. There are moments when desires surface again, lessons repeat, or new insights reframe what’s needed next. It's not about checking boxes; it's about evolving.
Her Practical Tools for Soul Manifesting
Throughout the conversation, Monica shares that the exact tools she offers in her seven-part soul manifesting series are the same ones she’s used for over a decade—first as a student, then as a corporate leader, and now as an entrepreneur and mother.
These tools include:
Journaling with intention
Visualization of desired outcomes
Affirmations spoken aloud and written
Taking small, aligned actions—even when afraid
Trusting the timeline—even when it feels delayed
Allowing space for pivots, pauses, and lessons
It’s a Journey, Not a Shortcut
Monica emphasizes that results don’t happen overnight. Some intentions took years to materialize. But the lessons along the way were just as important as the manifestation itself. She encourages listeners not to give up when things feel out of reach or hard.
Soul manifesting isn’t just about “getting what you want.” It’s about transforming in the process. As she says, “There’s always something to be learned on the journey.”
Manifesting from the Soul vs. the Ego
A key element of Monica’s message is the difference between soul-driven desires and ego-based goals. When manifesting from the soul, what you're calling in isn't just for personal gain—it serves a higher purpose. It’s aligned with values. It supports loved ones. It contributes to the collective.
She invites listeners to check their desires by asking: “Is this from the ego, or is this from the soul?” The more connected we are to our deeper purpose, the more powerful and long-lasting the manifestations become.
The Power of Community
One of the most important parts of Monica’s journey was not going at it alone. That’s why the Wand(HER)wild member space exists—not just for consuming content, but for co-creating community.
In this episode, she reminds listeners that the WhatsApp group, guidance calls, and digital workshops inside the member space are there to support mothers through their own soul manifesting journeys. It’s a place to share wins, voice doubts, celebrate growth, and stay inspired.
Final Reflection
Monica’s story is not about privilege or perfection—it’s about perseverance, alignment, and heart. She has manifested a life that looks wildly different from the one expected of her, and she did so through a mix of practical tools, self-trust, and soulful reflection.
Whether you’re calling in a new career path, a healing journey, a new chapter in motherhood, or something deeply personal, her story is a reminder: it’s possible. It starts with listening to your soul.
